Why the nose is not a convenience here but the faithful choice.
For selank the intranasal format is less a preference than a fidelity decision. Nearly all the published Russian literature dosed the heptapeptide through the nose, so a metered spray reproduces the delivery those protocols used rather than swapping in a tidier one. Its seven residues, tuftsin with a stabilising PGP tail, sit well within reach of mucosal uptake, keeping the format mechanically sound as well as faithful, for the chain-length reasons the spray format page gives. What the route really changes is the frame of comparison. Because the source literature dosed through the nose, a selank nasal spray lets replication work match the studies on their own delivery terms instead of translating across formats and hoping it holds.
